Michaud family and Augusta Elks 964 help BARHH Sisters in Arms Center

This post is long overdue! Thank you so much to Lina & Mike Michaud, and the Augusta Elks #964 for their thoughtful donations of turkeys to women veterans, and the biggest slab of delicious meat I have seen, which will help us raise funds for the Sisters-in-Arms Center. Additionally, they generously donated wonderfully creative decorations that will save countless volunteer hours.

A sincere thank you with endless gratitude to the Augusta Elks and the Michaud family! We wish you a wonderful and joyful holiday season since you have brightened the lives of our veterans at The Betsy Ann Ross House of Hope!

BARHH – Sisters in Arms Center’s volunteers help at UMO basketball game

Thank you to everyone who showed up tonight at the Civic Center UMO basketball 🏀 game to volunteer for the The Betsy Ann Ross House of Hope / Sisters-in-Arms Center! It was wonderful to see and meet everyone including Rachel Boober Soucy (who helped secure the contract for us), Rachel Merriam (who is always such a joy to be with), John Crowley (who has an endless devotion to service), Caitlyn (for showing up with literally hours notice for us to have enough volunteers), and it was a joy to meet Patty, who drove 1.5 hours to help the center, and of course, Christina Randolph, who added much cheer to the game’s spectators (and mine) day. Given the busy time of year, we are so grateful for you to take the time out of your packed holiday schedule to support our veterans-thank you!!
